For centuries, the Vampyres have been at war with a race known as the Venators. The Venators are like the supernatural police force of our world; they ensure Vampyres are not risking exposure to the humans of the world in anyway. No one is sure where the feud started, but both know that neither one wants the other to exist. The two sides are not alone in this war of theirs. Added to the mix is the very unlikely offspring of these two species known as Legacies. The Vampyres believe that Legacies should not exist and have vowed to wipe every one of them off the face of the Earth;. However the Legacies are simply fighting for their right to exist in this world.
Another species exists in this world as well, though they refuse to take sides in this war and will come to face off with both the Vampyres and Venators or ally themselves with either or, depending on how the mood strikes them. Yes that's right, the werewolves are only out for themselves though ultimately hope for the annihilation of both groups so they can come out on top. They know of the Legacies, though most only believe them to be myths. The question that you should be asking yourself right now is, where is your place in this world? Do you call the Vampyres kin or do you feel more at home with the Werewolves watching out for only themselves, or do you sympathize with the Venators cause and align with them, or are you an Unwanted Legacy?
